Slink And Bardot, Mumbai
Slink And Bardot has a great new menu inspired by the Worli Koliwada neighborhood and community. We recently had the chance to taste some of their signature treats. We particularly enjoyed the ‘Sunset At Slink’ – a delightfully salty blend of Aperol and mezcal with eponymous vibrant hues. We also recommend the subtle and surprising refreshment of ‘Saint Nicholas’ – a sparkling watermelon wine. The new seven-course menu is inspired by various elements of a typical fish thali. To give you an idea, the usual papad pickle was replaced by a Shrimp & Tapioca Cracker with Brown Onion Labneh and Amboshi Escabeche Pickle on the side. fascinated? We certainly were as we lost ourselves in layers of familiar flavors presented in exquisite avatars such as Oysters with Kokum Saar Granita, Barramundi Ceviche in Solkadhi Broth, Roasted Ghol Fish with Koli Masala Butter and others. Vegetarians need not worry as some fascinating equivalents have been curated for them too.
