Drinks are on the field while the players catch their breath. Pakistan have had a very poor start and half their team has been sent back to the pavilion and they are well behind in the chase. Neither batsman looked good on the field and could not build a strong partnership. India on the other hand have used the conditions to their strengths and managed to put their opposition on the back foot. Their bowlers are doing a great job and taking wickets on time which works in their favour. Pakistan need a strong partnership now as Shadab Khan walks out to bat next.

It’s the usual broken leg, and the ball turns in. Salman goes for the nice sweep but misses and gets hit on the pads. UltraEdge displays a flat line as the ball passes the bat. Ball tracking comes up with wickets as umpire’s call and Salman has to go back. Kuldeep gets his second and Pakistan have now lost half their team.

Oh no! The game will be stopped for a while as Agha Salman has been injured. The ball hit his face after deflecting off the top edge of his bat, and there is a bruise below his right eye. The doctors and the physiotherapist are on the field looking after him. Hope he’s ok. A mandatory concussion test will be done and he is wearing the helmet. It looks like he will continue as the doctors and physios are giving him some instructions. It is confirmed that he will continue and the game will resume. A lot of injuries are scaring Pakistan in this match.

Full and quick from Jadeja outside off, Salman comes across and gets inside the line, tries to paddle it nicely but gets a top edge right in the face and as he’s not wearing a helmet, the ball crashes into the nose.
