The Indian cricket team registered a 70-run victory over New Zealand in the World Cup semi-final. Virat Kohli’s world record 50th ODI hundred and a brilliant century by Shreyas Iyer, followed by Mohammed Shami’s demolition job in bowling on Wednesday, propelled India into the World Cup final.
The entire nation is rejoicing over this victory and the celebration also extends to social media platforms where people are sharing messages, videos and memes related to this momentous match.
Mumbai and Delhi police social media have also joined in as they took part in a fun prank on X.
The Delhi Police X account started the conversation by posting the first message, “@MumbaiPolice hope you don’t book @MdShami11 for tonight’s assault.”
Mumbai Police’s X account was quick to respond. “You missed making allegations of stealing countless hearts @DelhiPolice and also listing a few co-accused.”
You missed making accusations of stealing countless hearts @DelhiPolice and also lists a few co-defendants😂
PS: Dear citizens, both departments know IPC inside out and trust you for a good sense of humor 😊 https://t.co/TDnqHuvTZj
