Full list of NatWest and RBS branches closing – and when they close

NatWest Group is closing a further 19 branches in England, Wales and Scotland.

It is the latest in a wave of bank closures that have seen hundreds of branches close their doors in recent years.

The company said it will close 18 NatWest branches and one Royal Bank of Scotland branch.

It said the closures were due to customers switching to online banking, but said it recognized “digital solutions are not right for everyone”.

The NatWest branches set for closure are:

• London, Chiswick High Road – 20 February

• Redcar, High Street East – 20 February

• Bradford, New Line – 21 February

• Surbiton, Victoria Road – 21 February

• Bakewell, Water Lane – 22 February

• Greenwich, Greenwich Church Street – 22 February

• Ormskirk, Moor Street – 27 February

• London, Station Parade – 27 February

• Morecambe, Marine Road Central – 28 February

• Wednesfield, High Street – 28 February

• Pontypridd, Taff Street – 29 February

• Rickmansworth, High Street – 29 February

• Birmingham, Bristol Road South – 5 March

• Liverpool, Prescot Road – 5 March

• London, Piccadilly – 6 March

• Rochester, High Street – 6 March

• Dudley, Castle Street – 7 March

• Maldon, High Street – 7 March

The RBS branch set for closure is:

• Glasgow, Sauchiehall Street – 19 November
