Paneer tikka is one of those snacks that you can easily find everywhere. Whether you’re at a dinner party or a wedding, it always finds its way onto the menu. And why not? Soft paneer cubes marinated with flavorful masalas make it an absolute delight to indulge in. However, the only downside to this snack is that it is traditionally cooked in a tandoor, which gives it its distinct taste. Now, of course, it is practically impossible to have a tandoor at home. That’s why we end up ordering it from outside. But when made fresh at home, it tastes even more incredible. To help you out, we’re going to share four different ways you can make this delicious snack at home. Check them out below:

Here are 4 different ways to make Paneer Tikka:
1. Stove
The easiest way to cook paneer tikka at home is on the stove. All you need to do is heat a tawa and spread some oil on it. Now arrange your marinated paneer tikkas on a skewer and place them on it. You can even keep them as they are, but placing them on a skewer makes it easier to grill directly over the flame. When they are almost done, remove them from the tawa and grill them directly on the flame to give them that distinct charred effect. The results are truly spectacular!
2. Microwave
Microwaves have always made our lives easier, and it comes as no surprise that you can also make this delicious snack in them. Marinate the paneer as usual and place neatly on a microwave-safe plate. Brush with a little oil and cook for 5-7 minutes. When done, flip the paneer cubes and cook again for another 2-3 minutes. You have the classic paneer tikka, oozing with flavor ready in just under 10 minutes. To get started, here is an easy recipe to make paneer tikka in the microwave.

3. Oven
Paneer tikka can also be made in one oven. For this, make sure you always preheat your oven. Now cover the baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the paneer tikka skewers evenly on it. We don’t want them to stick to each other. Brush with a little oil and grill for 10-12 minutes. Place it on the middle rack as it may end up making them too dry, if placed on the bottom rack they may not cook properly. So the middle rack works best. When done, brush again with oil and enjoy with chutney.
4. Air Fryer
An air fryer works exceptionally well for cooking paneer tikka. Just like how we preheat the oven, it is also important to preheat your air fryer. Now just brush some oil in the airfryer basket and place the marinated paneer cubes in it. Air fry them for about 10 to 12 minutes or until done. If you want to make it healthier, you can even skip adding the oil. This way of cooking paneer tikka is super easy to make and the results are exactly the same as the one cooked in a tandoor. Here is a recipe that you can try.
