A 49-year-old British man has reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the most tattoos of the same name on his body. Mark Owen Evans had his daughter’s name tattooed on his body a total of 667 times.
Mr. Evans originally earned the record for most tattoos of the same name on his body in 2017 when he had his daughter’s name, Lucy, printed on his back 267 times.
Sir. However, Evans lost the record in 2020 when American Diedra Vigil broke the record by getting her own name tattooed on herself 300 times.
According to the press release of Guinness World RecordsMr. Evans was determined to repeat the record, and with not much room left on his back, he decided to get the new tattoos done on his thighs.
It took five and a half for all 400 tattoos – 200 on each leg to be completed, Mr Evan told GWS. “I couldn’t wait to reclaim the record and dedicate this to my daughter,” he said.
Two tattoo artists at Dexterity Ink in Wrexham worked for an hour to complete the entire work.
Sir. Evans said he doesn’t plan to have more children with his wife, Katherine, but if he does, he’ll have to do “something bigger.”
Earlier, an American man set a world record by attending 777 movie screenings within a single year. According to Guinness World Records, film buff Zach Swope (USA) has broken the record for the most films seen in a cinema in one year after attending a total of 777 screenings between July 2022 and July 2023.
